Daniel Griffith (September 29, 1987) is an American record producer, singer, DJ, and musician. He is professionally known by his stage name, Gryffin born in San Francisco, California. At first, he honed his skills as an instrumentalist by participating in bands. He finished high school at Mountain View, California's Saint Francis. He attended USC to study electrical engineering and spent much of his free time in his dorm room composing music.
Gryffin said on his Instagram that he and John Martin would release a new song titled "Cry" on July 26, 2020. He suggested that this song will serve as the lead single from his forthcoming second album and set the release date for the single for July 30, 2020. Gryffin and Audrey Mika's "Safe With Me" was released on November 19, 2020. On February 10, 2021, Gryffin dropped "I Want Love," starring Two Feet. The day before the release, he posted a message on Instagram announcing it.
Gryffin dropped their single "You Were Loved" featuring OneRepublic on April 1, 2022. Gryffin's second studio album, Alive, was released on November 4, 2022. Gryffin identifies as a melodic house artist because he creates songs in that genre. He creates a 'hybrid of electric and organic' sound by combining piano and guitar.
