Grum Information
Graeme Shepherd (May 7, 1986) is a Scottish electronic producer and musician. He was born in Glasgow, Scotland. He is professionally known by his stage name, Grum. Grum's first full-length album, Heartbeats, came out on May 17, 2010. There have been comparisons to Mylo's Destroy Rock & Roll and Daft Punk's Discovery. The album debuted at the top of the iTunes Electronic Dance Charts in the US, and by year's end, he had been crowned the year's Best Electronic Artist by the UK's iTunes store.
iTunes has selected the single "Turn It Up" as their pick for the week. Two video games have used Grum's "Heartbeats" single, including the 2010s The Sims 3: High-End Loft Stuff Pack and 2011's Saints Row: The Third. Grum's first two music videos, "Can't Shake This Feeling" and "Through the Night," were directed by The General Assembly and shot off his album Heartbeats in Los Angeles.
By the end of 2012, Grum had performed everywhere, from New York's VICE Magazine gigs to sold-out dates in Paris, Barcelona, Australia, and Brazil. He had also shared the mainstage at Creamfields with Tiesto and Ultra with Fatboy Slim and Above & Beyond. Grum's second studio album, Human Touch, included the lead song, "Everytime," in 2013. On May 13, 2013, it was made public. After that, he dropped "The Theme," which quickly became a fan favorite and was named one of Annie Mac's (BBCR1) "Singles of 2013" and Mixmag's "Electro Single Of The Month."
