In the United States, Cedar City, Utah, is the location of the multiple-day music event known as Groovefest Music & Art event, formerly known as Groovefest American Music Festival. The festival takes place during the last week of June of every year. Various American musical styles will be featured during the festival's seven days, including blues and folk music, bluegrass, country music, Americana, and jazz.
In the past, there have been prominent musicians such as Trampled by Turtles, Pert Near Sandstone, Richmond Fontaine, Great American Taxi, 56 Hope Road, Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash, Cee Cee James, Stranger, Harper & Midwest Kind, Wayne "The Train" Hancock, and Jackstraw.
