Greensky Bluegrass Information
Greensky Bluegrass is an American bluegrass jam band. The current lineup includes Dave Bruzza, Paul Hoffman, Michael Bont, Anders Beck, and Mike Devol. The group got together in the chilly autumn of 2000. After competing at the 2006 Telluride Bluegrass Festival Band Competition and coming out on top, the band was awarded a seat on the 2007 festival's main stage. They quickly followed that up with the release of Tuesday Letter, their second studio album.
In 2007, they completed their lineup by including Dobroist Anders Beck. Shouted, Written Down & Quoted is a 2016 album by Greensky Bluegrass. Steve Berlin of Los Lobos served as producer, and Glenn Brown was involved in engineering, mixing, and mastering. This album was captured in October 2015 in Asheville, North Carolina.
Courage for the Road: Fall 2019 (Live), the first of two live CDs released by Greensky Bluegrass in 2019, was released on January 10, 2020. In March of the following year, 2020, they released Courage for the Road: Winter 2020 (Live). On February 22, 2020, Greensky Bluegrass took the stage at WinterWonderGrass in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Released on January 21, 2022, "Stress Dreams" was produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Glenn Brown.
