He is a big name in the electronic dance music sphere, and his particular sound and style. Green Velvet is from Chicago, where he studied chemical engineering before the pull of music made itself known and began producing tracks in the early 1990s.
"La La Land" was one of his biggest hits and an anthem for party people worldwide. Green Velvet's manic live performances include his usual green mohawk and futuristic sunglasses, which have all become part of an unmistakable look.
