Gatecreeper Information
Gatecreeper is an American death metal band. The current lineup consists of Alexander Brown (bass), Israel Garza (guitars), Matt Arrebollo (drums), Eric “The Darkest Cowboy” Wagner (guitars), and Chase “Hellahammer” Mason (vocals). In 2014, Gatecreeper released a four-song self-titled EP. Gatecreeper released a split album with Take Over and Destroy in 2015. In 2016, the band collaborated with Homewrecker, Outer Heaven, and Scorched on a split album. Gatecreeper released a split album with Young and in the Way in 2016.
Sonoran Depravation, Gatecreeper’s debut full-length album, was released in 2016 on Relapse Records. Gatecreeper opened for The Atlas Moth and Take Over and Destroy at The Rebel Lounge, the former Mason Jar location, in 2015. Gatecreeper announced their new album Deserted in August of this year, and it was released on Relapse Records on October 4, 2019. It was chosen as one of the top 50 metal albums of 2019 by Loudwire.
An Unexpected Reality was released in January 2021. Revolver’s list of the “25 Best Albums of 2021” named the album at fourteen.
