Galantis Information
Christian "Bloodshy" Karlsson is the sole member of the Swedish electronic music ensemble Galantis. Style of Eye, a rising star in the music industry, was a duo member until he left the project in 2017 after their second album, The Aviary. Even yet, he continued appearing in the project's live performances and music videos until 2021.
"Runaway (U & I)" was Galantis's first worldwide hit in 2014, and subsequent singles "Peanut Butter Jelly" and "No Money" built on that popularity. They first crossed paths in 2007 at Karlsson's Robotberget Studios in Stockholm. In 2009, Miike Snow, Karlsson's band, requested a remix of their song "Animal" from Eklöw, known as Style of Eye and works as a producer and DJ. Afterward, they began spending time in the studio, jamming and trading ideas. Midway through 2013, the two artists joined with Big Beat Records, a dance division of Atlantic Records.
The two artists started to zero in on their creative goals while recording in a studio on the Baltic Sea archipelago of Sweden. On May 29, 2020, Galantis released the song "Only a Fool" with Pink Sweat$ and Ship Wrek, as well as the track "Pretty Please" with Got7's Jackson Wang. The single "Heartbreak Anthem" was released by Galantis, French DJ David Guetta, and British girl group Little Mix on May 21, 2021.
