Firebeatz Information
Firebeatz is a Dutch music production duo and DJ. The current lineup consists of Jurre van Doeselaar and Tim Benjamin Smulders. Tim and Jurre shared a classroom at the School of Arts in Tilburg, the Netherlands, where they bonded over a love of music. In 2008, they formed Firebeatz because of the palpable rapport between them. Some of their earliest singles, including "Funky Shit," "Where's Your Head At," "Miniman," "Dear New York," and "Here We F*cking Go," all did well on the Beatport dance rankings.
The single "Just One More Time Baby," which they recorded with Chocolate Puma, was played on BBC Radio 1 DJ Pete Tong's program and was well received. After that, the song spent weeks at the summit of the Beatport House chart. One of their greatest successes, "Dear New York," was a collaboration with Schella that peaked at #2 on the Beatport Main Top 100.
Firebeatz kept the momentum going in 2013 with the release of "Gangster," which charted in the top 20 on Beatport. Later, their "Ding Dong" single featuring Bobby Burns was issued on Tisto's Musical Freedom label. Both "Yeahhhh" and an exclusive "Thinking About You" remix by Harris and Ayah Marar were published on Harris's Fly Eye Records imprint. Popular DJs have approved their "Wonderful" tunes, including Afrojack, Chuckie, Sander van Doorn, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Thomas Gold, and R3hab.
