Farewell Angelina is an American trio that originated from Nashville, TN. The trio was named after a haunting Bob Dylan’s song, Farewell Angelina. It is an all-female trio that deals in country and Americana music genres only. Farewell Angelina is composed of dynamic songwriters, powerhouse vocalists, and badass multi-instrumentalists. The group’s current lineup is Ashley Gearing, Andrea Young, and Nicole Witt. It is a trio with award-winning songs, heart-stopping harmonies, and blazing double fiddles.
Farewell Angelina consists of longtime friends who met pursuing their dreams in Nashville, TN. Each of the women had deeply respected and admired each other while building successful solo careers, recording with top artists, touring, and writing songs for some of the biggest hitmakers of Country Music. For the first time, when they heard the undeniable magic of their voices together, the women were impatient to take their show on the road.
Farewell Angelina was soon followed by significant opportunities, including singing the National Anthem for Thursday Night Football, The Trails West Festival, and The Unbridled Eve Gala for the Kentucky Derby. The secret to the band’s success is watching each other shine and creating moments every night with the fans. Farewell Angelina earned the fan-voted “Hot Seat” spot of the Taste of Country “RISERS” Program in 2017. The band won over 20,000 votes for this title. The Rolling Stones named the Farewell Angelina “New Artists You Need To Know” and “Ones to Watch” by Roughstock.
