Eric Nam Information
Eric Nam (November 17, 1988) is a Korean American songwriter and singer along with a famous host. He is based in South Korea. Nam Yoon-Do is the birth name given to him when he was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He decided to pursue his career in entertainment after accepting the position of a business analyst at Deloitte Consulting. Eric is multilingual with being fluent in English and Korean, conversational in Mandarin, and highly proficient in Spanish.
Eric was invited by MBC following a viral YouTube cover to compete on the famous program entitled "Star Audition: Birth of a Great Star 2". This show is similar to the X-Factor show. Eric got placed within the Top 5 contestants right after eight months and kick-started his career in South Korea. After signing as a solo artist under B2M Entertainment on September 25, 2012, he officially debuted in 2013. “Cloud 9” was the first EP by Eric with a lead single named “Heaven's Door."
Eric was also the MC of Arirang TV show; “After School Club” along with its spin-off named “The ASC After Show.” He is famous for his "go-to" personality interviewing international celebrities such as Miranda Kerr, Matt Damon, Andrew Garfield, Amanda Seyfried, Barbara Palvin, Emma Stone, Ki Hong Lee, Benedict Cumberbatch, and countless more.
