Eli and Fur Information
Eliza Noble and Jennifer Skillman, of Tunisian and Egyptian descent, live and work as a DJ/electronic music production pair under the name Eli & Fur out of London, England. Working together since they were teenagers, Eli and Fur have a long history of success. Songwriting is in the group's blood, and while they cut their teeth on the DJ scene, they're now transitioning to performing live with Ableton. Eli & Fur don't just blend songs; they write and play their own, which results in a "distinctly electronic, fusing house and dance beats" style of music.
The pair's debut single, "You're So High," peaked in the top 3 on Hype Machine and has since amassed approximately 5 million views on YouTube. NYX Records published their self-titled debut EP on July 22, 2013. In 2015, Eli & Fur played a series of concerts across America. They were featured in a Kayak campaign last December (2018), where they used sounds they collected on a trip to Japan to create original music.
Notable singles include "Chlo" / "Wendy Legs," "Lookalike," "On My Own," "Hold Me Down," "Feel the Fire," "Let It Go," "Nightmares," and "Sea of Stars."
