Edgardo Nun~ez (1972) is a musician and guitarist from Spain. Notable among his many accolades are two Latin Grammy nominations. Otros Aires, Buika, Jesse Cook, and The Gipsy Kings are just a few of the world-renowned artists he has worked with.
Originally from Madrid, Spain, Nun?ez started learning classical guitar when he was quite young and continued his education at Madrid's Conservatorio Superior de Música.d. After finishing college, he started collaborating with Carlos Sanz and Miguel Bos, two of the most famous names in Spanish music.é.
His debut album, "Estaciones," was published in 2002 and garnered two Latin Grammy nominations. His subsequent four studio albums are "Caminos"(2005), "Elementos" (2010), "Tierra" (2014), and "Tiempo" (2016). He has also worked with other world-renowned musicians, including The Gipsy Kings, Otros Aires, Buika, and Jesse Cook.
Among Nun~ez's many festival appearances are Primavera Sound in Barcelona, the North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam, the Europalia Arts Festival in Brussels, the WOMAD Festivals in England and Australia, and countless more. The Royal Albert Hall in London is only one of the many illustrious locations where he has performed.
Among his many accolades, Nun~ez's debut album "Estaciones" was nominated for 2 Latin Grammys. In 2006, Spain's Ministry of Culture also honored him with the National Culture Award. The 2008 Premios de la Musica also recognized him as the year's finest acoustic guitarist.
