Eazybaked, a new group in the American underground electronic music scene, is winning over fans and peers with its dynamic, cutting-edge take on Bass music. Eric Ray and Andrew Principe had known each other for 15 years since they met on a playground. After discovering digital audio workstations in their senior year of high school, the two began regularly collaborating under the aliases "easy" and "Mr. Baked." Principe and Ray became one as Eazybaked when they realized they had great chemistry and could work well together creatively.
The two have developed an experimental, raw, and honest musical identity that owes much to the work of artists like Flume, Tsuruda, and Mr. Carmack. Along with other members of the Lost Dogz collective, such as Sumthin' Sumthin' and Player Dave, they initially gained popularity. By expanding the aural frontiers of underground music, Eazybaked has become a household name within the country's Bass scene.
To date, the duo has played at major festivals like EDC Orlando and Okeechobee Music Festival and more offbeat locales like Red Rocks. The global epidemic and the arrival of Principe's child in 2020, following the duo's largest performance so far at Okeechobee, prompted them to broaden their horizons. The outcome of these efforts is the debut album Intertwined, released not too long ago.
