Doss Information
Doss (1990) is an American DJ, record producer, singer, and songwriter born in New York City, New York. Starting with a cover of How to Dress Well's "& It Was U" in 2012 and Wildarms' "Full Hearts" in 2013, Doss began releasing songs under her stage name in the years following. In 2014, after signing with Acéphale Records, Doss released her self-titled EP, which was praised by several online music sites.
EP cut "The Way I Feel" was released as a single with four new remixes by artists like Recycle Culture, Ana Caprix, and PC Music's Life Sim. Doss delayed the release of new original music until 2021, when she released her second extended play (EP), titled 4 New Hit Songs, with the song "Puppy" as the lead single. The EP was featured on many year-end "Best Of" compilations. Doss also reworked Lady Gaga's "Enigma" for her third remix album, Dawn of Chromatica.
Featuring Cecilia Gault on vocals, she dropped a single called "Cherry" in November 2021, and it was available only on Spotify. Doss's latest single, "Jumpin," came out in 2022. She also dropped a remix EP for 4 New Hit Songs that year in October, with contributions from Rye Rye, Hudson Mohawke, and Plush.
