Donny Edwards is an international and multi-award-winning Elvis tribute artist known as “An Authentic Heart & Soul Tribute to the King.” According to his mother, Edwards used to dance to Elvis’ records before he could walk. At the age of five, he was so passionate about Elvis that he stopped his grandmother when she tried to change the radio while “Hound Dog” played on the station. His devotion led him to a beloved career that revolves around paying tribute to one of the greatest musical artists.
Today, Edwards is known as one of the most sought-after performers in the business. He brings amazing tribute shows to stages in casinos, special events, theaters, venues, fairs, and festivals worldwide. Edwards can re-enact each era of Elvis’ life and career with his versatile performances. He has had the opportunity to work beside many of the musicians who personally performed with Elvis Presley. Some of which include DJ Fontana, Charlie Hodge, Jordanaires, The Sweet Inspirations, and Bob Moore. Edwards has also worked with Elvis’ inner circle, such as Sonny West, Charles Stone, Al Dvorin, and Ed Bonja.
He has been hired by Elvis Presley Enterprises and CKX for corporate events, tribute shows, and TV appearances. Donny regularly sells out shows, performing with an 8-9 piece band in the US and Japan, Canada, and Australia. Donny has also appeared on the cover of two published books regarding Elvis tribute artists. He is a 2-time world champion of two of the biggest Elvis contests ever, Isle of Capri and Potawatomi.
