DKB Information
DKB is a South Korean boy band consiting of Harry-June, Yuku, Junseo, Lune, Heechan, GK, Teo, D1, and E-Chan. DKB is Brave Entertainment's first new boy band since Big Star debuted seven years ago. "Those who have it will reach out to the world," as the acronym DKB suggests, refers to the color of their eyes. One Brave Entertainment rep said the band is "a newcomer who will bring a new breeze to the music industry in 2020."
The group's members were gradually unveiled in teasers posted over the second half of 2019. Brave Entertainment released a teaser image on January 16, 2020, depicting nine figures in red illumination against a black background. The EP's name, Youth, and its February 3 release date were announced in the same image. Brave Brothers' "Sorry Mama" served as the lead single for Youth.
The same day, it also marked the group's inaugural showcase, which took place at Gangnam's Spigen Hall. The EP debuted at #41 on the Gaon Album Chart the week after its release. DKB's second EP, Love, and its lead single, "Still," were released on May 25. DKB earned the "Next Artist Award" at the 2020 Soribada Awards on August 13. This was their first major honor following their debut. Growth is the third extended play by DKB, and its lead song, "Work Hard," was released on October 26.
