Manfredi Romano, the founder and A&R of Life and Death, got his start as a tour manager for punk bands and an organizer of out-there musical events. Discotheque master and gourmet cook. Manfredi Romano began as a teenager touring with punk bands and producing offbeat musical events in Italy at the turn of the millennium.
Manfredi founded DAZE, Italy's first booking agency devoted only to electronic music, after completing his studies in computer technology at the University of Pisa. In 2010, Romano pivoted from producer and manager to DJ. He began to draw on his twenty years of experience in the industry. To the audience's great credit, Tennis bravely demonstrates a cunning ability to build closeness even in the largest of settings.
Romano is a well-respected producer who frequently draws inspiration from his associations with post-rock greats like Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Tortoise, and Fugazi create meticulously synthesized electronic constellations. Tennis, a talented cook and restaurant owner, divides his time between Miami and Barcelona, where he indulges his passions for motorcycling, amassing a vintage action figure collection, and expanding his vinyl record library, which now boasts over 11,000 albums.
