He has been playing violin since the age of 10. Dixon was born and raised in greater Flint. Later on, he lived nearly 17 years of his youth in Lansing. He moved to Dearborn and then recently settled in Ann Arbor. Dixon is known for making unique heavenly sounds with the help of a five-string Yamaha EV-205 electric violin, looping pedals, and a bank of effects.
Dixon has pursued a career as a violinist and technology leader for 15 years. Dixon has been touring North America for over ten years with his one-person symphony. Dixon’s Violin has also performed at TED talks, Burning Man, and Electric Forest. Dixon’s Violin is famous for not playing with a specific genre in a label or branding it.
As the world’s premier visionary violinist, Dixon’s life mission is to inspire people with the help of Dixon’s Violin. He made several appearances and performances on TV, films, and even radio to achieve this. Being a former technology leader, Dixon developed an all-live one-person symphony guided by his notable personal story, all about life transformation.
