Dixie National Rodeo Information
The Dixie National Rodeo, the largest ProRodeo event east of the Mississippi, is returning to the Mississippi Coliseum in 2024 with the Harper and Morgan Rodeo Company to provide impressive entertainers, contemporary rodeo competition, and the finest aspects of the old untamed west.
The first week of the rodeo featured several exciting performances, including the appearance of Mississippi's very own Tim Lepard, also known as the Wild Thang, along with his white-throated Capuchin monkeys that are mounted on Border Collies! John Payne of Shidler, a member of The One Arm Bandit and Company, will perform during the second week of the rodeo.
This is the first time anyone else has been honored with the coveted PRCA Specialty Act of the Year award more than fifteen times. As a result of the overwhelming demand, Dusty Myers, a top-five PRCA rodeo clown, will be performing at every rodeo performance.
