Diablo Information
Diablo is a Finnish melodic death metal band that was founded as Diablo Brothers in 1995. The music of this group is defined as thrash metal and melodic death metal. The influences of the band are cited to be Metallica, Slayer, Testament, Megadeth, Opeth, Death, and a few more along with several Gothenburg bands, including Hypocrisy, Dark Tranquility, and In Flames. The current lineup of Diablo is composed of Rainer Nygård – vocals, guitar, Marko Utriainen – lead guitar, Adolf Virtanen – bass, and Heikki Malmberg – drums. Whereas Timo Kemppainen – drums is the former member.
Elegance in Black (2000) was the first studio album by Diablo, where a mini-album entitled the band already released princess before this studio album. It was followed by Renaissance (2002), Eternium (2004), Mimic47 (2006), Icaros (2008), and Silvër Horizon (2015). Diablo also released a few successful singles such as "Princess" (1999), "Intomesee" (2002), "Read My Scars" (2003), "Mimic47" (2005), Damien" (2005), "Icaros" (2008), and "Isolation" (2015).
The fourth album by the band was Mimic47, released in January 2006, reached number one on the Finnish music charts. Their fifth album entitled Icaros also reached number two on the same music chart.
