Deorro Information
Erick Orrosquieta (August 30, 1991) is an American DJ. He is better known by his stage name, Deorro, and also goes by TONIC born in LA. At 14, he began performing at open mic nights; by 17, he was already creating music. Different labels have defined his work, including progressive house, Dutch house, electro house, trap, and Melbourne bounce.
When DJ Chuckie released "Make Some Noise" in 2012, he contacted Deorro about doing a remix. The remix was a huge hit for Deorro, pushing him into the top 50 on the music streaming service Beatport. He has since reworked the music of numerous well-known DJs, including Laidback Luke, Steve Aoki, and Gareth Emery.
As the first single in 2013, "Yee" marked Deorro's introduction to music. Hardwell's Revealed Recordings label released the single to his fans. Several European countries charted the album. Released in March 2014, "Freak" was Deorro's second hit single. As a lead artist, he has also released some other hit songs "Five Hours," "Perdóname," and "Wild Like The Wind."
Deorro's notable discographies were released on the Spinnin' Records, Monstercat, PandaFunk, and Dim Mak record labels. During 2016 and 2017, Deorro was nominated for the NRJ Music Awards and the WDM Radio Awards, respectively.
Deorro's new single "Rise and Shine" was featured on his first album, Good Evening. It was released on March 31, 2017. Deorro, Pitbull, and IAMCHINO made their live premiere of their late 2021 song "Discoteca" on February 24, 2022. It happened during the 2022 Premio Lo Nuestro Awards.
