Demi Lovato (August 20, 1992) is an American actress, singer, and songwriter. She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. No. 2 on the US Billboard 200 in its first week of release, Lovato's pop-rock first album, Don't Forget (2008), came out after she signed with Hollywood Records. Here We Go Again(2009), the album's sequel, had a number-one debut in the United States and a number-fifteen Hot 100 single from the title tune. Unbroken (2011), her third studio album, explored pop and R&B that yielded the platinum-certified hit "Skyscraper" in the United States.
New episodes of Lovato's podcast, 4D with Demi Lovato, will be released weekly on May 19, 2021. Jameela Jamil, Chelsea Handler, Jane Fonda, Alok Vaid-Menon, and Glennon Doyle are the confirmed podcast guests. A chat program hosted by Lovato, The Demi Lovato program, premiered on Roku on July 30, 2021.
In a special appearance for season ten of The Masked Singer, Lovato performed as "Anonymouse" on the "Kickoff Show" on September 10, 2023. Two days later, at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, she did a medley that was considered one of the show's top performances by both Billboard and USA Today. A Very Demi Holiday Special, which Lovato co-hosted and executive produced, debuted on Roku on December 8.
