Ali "Dubfire" Shirazinia and Sharam Tayebi, who together made Deep Dish, changed the house and advanced dance music scenes in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Their remixes won a Grammy and hit songs like "Say Hello" and "Flashdance" helped define the sound of deep, rhythmic electronic music.
Deep Dish came back in a big way in 2024 after splitting up to work on their solo businesses. They played some festival shows and participated in a special residency in Ibiza.
