Deanna Bogart (September 5, 1959) is an American saxophone, pianist, and blues/fusion singer. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, and began her musical career in the Washington D.C. and Baltimore area of Maryland with the ensemble Cowboy Jazz. In 1986, she left the band and moved towards a stint playing with Root Boy Slim although Bogart began her solo career in the early 1990s.
Some of the notable awards that Deanna Bogart has won throughout her career include 4x BMA (Blues Music Awards) Horn Instrumentalist of the year. She also received a nomination for a Blues Music Awards for the category of “Pinetop Perkins Piano Player.”
Deanna Bogart has been delivering entertaining music to her fans for years.
