David Nail Information
David Brent Nail (May 18, 1979) is an American country music artist from Kennett, Missouri. Nail's father was a high school band director, and Nail attended Arkansas State University, where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha. Nail is an avid fan of the MLB's St. Louis Cardinals. He sang "God Bless America" during Game 7 of the Cardinals World Series 2011. Nail also sang the National Anthem at the Mizzou Tigers 2012 homecoming game that was played against the University of Kentucky. He even participated in the 2010 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.
He serves as a frontman of the band David Nail & The Well Ravens, with his music being defined as country. The first recording contract of Nail was with Mercury Records Nashville, which is a division of Universal Music Group Nashville. John Kelton and Keith Stegall produced his self-titled debut album. A single named "Memphis" hit number 52 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks.
Nail signed with MCA Nashville five years later and released four studio albums entitled The Sound of a Million Dreams, I'm About to Come Alive, I'm a Fire, and Fighter. He also released two extended plays named 1979 and Uncovered. The albums by Nail produced seven chart entries on Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay. Some of his hit singles are "I'm About to Come Alive," "Turning Home," "Red Light," "Whatever She's Got," "The Sound of a Million Dreams," "Good at Tonight."
