Davey Suicide is an American rock singer who calls Hollywood, California, home. The band started in 2010, and since then, they have become well-known for their eccentric personality, experimental songwriting, wild performances, and epic rock anthems. Playing Chain Reaction in October 2011 brought the attention of Century Media, Standby Records, and Rob McDermott (former Linkin Park manager) to Davey Suicide's debut recordings.
After receiving praise from publications like Alternative Press (for including them on their list of "100 Bands You Need to Know"), Kerrang (for listing them as one of the "50 Greatest Rockstars in the World"), Big Cheese ("Introducing"), and Revolver ("Ones to Watch"), Davey Suicide earned a recording contract with Standby Records in 2012. The label Out of Line Music has just signed Davey Suicide. Davey Suicide is a rock band that incorporates industrial and gothic styles.
Guns N' Roses, Pantera, Metallica, Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails, and Eminem are just a few of the bands that influenced the rapper early on. Davey has tattoos of Axl Rose, Eminem, and Marilyn Manson—the three frontmen and lyricists he admires most. Davey Suicide's first album post-settlement was March 2017's Made from Fire (produced by Charles Kallaghan Massabo). The album sold more copies than any of their previous releases on Standby Records and reached number 24 on the Billboard 200.
