The Darrin Morris Band is an American group that started performing officially in October 2012. The current lineup consists of Jeremy Moore (drums and backing vocals), Blake Watson (bass guitar), Michael Olson (lead guitar), and Phillip Griffith (rhythm guitar). The group members are known for playing a unique show forged on several stages in their home state of Texas. The band performs across the nation now, and their hard work is paying off.
The Darrin Morris Band builds momentum while performing at high-profile events, fairs, casinos, and clubs. They have performed at a few notable festivals, such as the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, the Great Texas Balloon Race, and Longview Cattle Baron’s Ball.
When The Darrin Morris Band first began playing together, it was just an ensemble of a few friends who used to play at a local restaurant near Gilmer, Texas. Darrin Morris is the lead singer of the band. He began singing as a teenager in the church where his father was pastor. His band has released two albums so far, including Country to the Bone (2015) and Preacher Man (2018).
