Danielle Simone Bradbery is a country singer from Cypress, Texas. On March 25, 2013, she appeared on the blind auditions for The Voice, where Bradbery performed “Mean” by Taylor Swift. She prompted Usher, Blake Shelton, and Adam Levine to turn their chairs. She chose Shelton and decided to remain on his team.
Bradbery won The Voice on June 18, 2013, and the very next day, she signed a record deal with Big Machine Records. She released her debut single on July 16, 2013, entitled “The Heart of Dixie.” Later on, Bradbery released her self-titled debut studio album on November 25, 2013. She got a chance to perform on the WGTY Great Country Radio stage on September 14, 2013. It took place at the York Fair, where Bradbery sang four songs from her upcoming album.
She has been nominated for many awards so far, including the American Country Countdown Awards for Female Vocalist of the Year (2014), CMT Music Awards for Performance of the Year (2017), Academy of Country Music Awards for New Female Vocalist of the Year (2018), CMT Music Awards for Breakthrough Video of the Year and Performance of the Year (2018), and Academy Country Music Awards for New Female Vocalist of the Year (2019).
Bradbery released another album on December 1, 2017, entitled “I Don’t Believe We’ve Met.” She has made a few more notable television appearances, such as in Hart of Dixie (2013) and Nashville (2017).
