Dada Life Information
Dada Life is a Swedish DJ duo. The current lineup consists of Stefan Engblom and Olle Corneer. Cornéer and Engblom each had successful solo careers before forming the duo, and each recorded music independently since the two first collaborated. Using the alias Phasio, Engblom released a single album in 2001 titled Just One More Day. Cornéer, under the guise of Dibaba, released Songs For Good Lives in 2005. In 2006, the team released 12 singles under the Dada Life moniker singles.
The pair's first 12, "Vote Yes," came out in May of 2007, and "Fun, Fun, Fun" followed in October "Prestel Records has published both of them. The latter made it onto the dance charts in the Netherlands and Belgium. Both "This Machine Kills Breakfasts" (June) and "Sweeter Than Fever" (December) was released through Alphabet City and Pickadoll, respectively.
In March 2009, the pair released a single through Big & Dirty titled "Happy Hands & Happy Feet" in anticipation of their upcoming first album. Featuring Anthony Mills on vocals, it charted in Belgium. Just Do The Dada, the group's debut album, was released in September 2009 through The: Hours. In terms of vocal contributions, it included work by Anthony Mills, Bita Mazhoni, and Anna Mourou. Dada Life's second studio album, The Rules of Dada, was released in October of 2012 and peaked in the upper echelons of the Billboard 200 and the top 20 of the UK Dance album chart.
