Cut Snake Information
Both members of Cut Snake grew up surfing on Australia's Gold Coast. While around the world competing in surfing competitions, they became interested in dance music and passionate about the local underground scenes in each nation they visited. Mixmag said that their "massive personalities and infectious live shows" have made them famous and that their "deep tech tunes at odds with their sun-soaked backgrounds" represent their music perfectly.
Their first EP, Life's a Beach, was a huge success, climbing to #5 on the iTunes Dance list in Australia and receiving backing from DJ heavyweights like Thomas Jack, Claude Von Stroke, Nic Fanciulli, and Pete Tong of BBC Radio 1's Essential Selection.
According to Billboard, who premiered their 2016 EP Magic, they have an "infectious tech house cut." They performed in the LA Convention Center in front of 20,000 people on May 7, 2016. It was the first time a concert had been held there. Fisher first released songs under a pseudonym in March of 2018.
