Now that he has Eric Prydz's endorsement, he's ready to take the next step in his career. There's a good reason for the enthusiasm with which his music has been received: Cristoph's music is catchy.
Cristoph was born and raised in Newcastle upon Tyne, a city where the tradition of DJing runs deep in his family. Cristoph was born to stardom; his dad and big brother are actors. From an early age, he dove headfirst into the club scene, and it wasn't long before he was learning the ropes by scratching records and studying the pros' techniques.
Cristoph's earliest inspirations were cult personalities like John Digweed and Sasha. Cristoph was so impressed by their mesmerizing DJ sets and expert production approach that he felt an insatiable need to devote himself to the field. Early successes on Selador and Truesoul were a tribute to his developing skills, so he continued to work.
In 2016, Cristoph joined Hot Since 82's red-hot Knee Deep in Sound imprint and became the first artist to release an album in the label's highly coveted '8-track' album series, marking his greatest success to date. Anthemic vocal pieces like "Alone" and "Closer" from the concept album catapulted Cristoph into the global spotlight and captivated dancefloors everywhere.
