Cix Information
Cix is a South Korean band. The group's current lineup consists of Hyunsuk, Jinyoung, Younghee, Seunghun, and BX. The winner of Season 2 of Mnet's Produce 101 was Bae Jin-young. For C9 Entertainment, he debuted as a trainee at ten and went on to position ten overall, earning him a spot in the winning group Wanna One, known as "monster rookies" in South Korea.
C9 introduced the five members of the future boy group, tentatively titled C9Boyz, in February 2019 by releasing individual personal videos. Their official moniker and emblem were unveiled in May of this year. Hello CIX, the group's reality show, premiered on V Live on June 4, 2019, in anticipation of the group's debut. The show's ten episodes highlighted their various qualities and the steps they took to break out.
Hello Chapter 1: Hello, Stranger was the debut EP by CIX, and its lead track, "Movie Star," was released on July 23, 2019. With 70,000 copies sold in just two months, the record was a moderate financial success. Tickets reportedly sold out in 30 seconds for CIX's maiden showcase, "Hello, Stranger," held on July 24 at SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium, with over 16,000 fans trying to access the server at once and over 5,000 people placed on wait.
