Chris Karns Information
Chris Karns (January 25, 1979) is an American turntablist. He was born in Colorado, United States. His victory at the 2011 DMC World DJ Championships brought him the most notoriety. In addition, he is the winner of the 2002 WSTC World Championships, as well as three Redbull Thre3style Championships and six DMC Regional Championships.
Both Ahmad and Mayer Hawthorne have had songs that he has produced. Chris has also performed on venues worldwide alongside illustrious industry veterans such as Run-D.M.C., A Tribe Called Quest, Common, Mos Def, and many others. Currently, he is serving as the official touring DJ for Yelawolf, and he has recently begun performing sets with Pretty Lights.
In April 2013, he participated in the selection process to become one of the nineteen competitors for the third season of the DJ reality show Master of the Mix, shown on VH1. Even though he reached the finals alongside DJ Jayceeoh and DJ Incrediboi, he was ultimately unsuccessful and finished in second place alongside DJ Incrediboi.
