Chris Farren Information
Chris Farren (April 29, 1986) is an American musician. He was born in Naples, Florida. Naples native Farren established the indie rock band Fake Problems with several pals in 2005. Following the departure of guitarist Casey Lee in 2012, the band recorded three studio albums and several EPs before disbanding for good in 2014.
2014 saw the release of a parody t-shirt titled "The Smiths," which included a portrait of Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, and their children, Jaden and Willow. The shirt gained some notoriety online after Jimmy Fallon wore it on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and gave it to guest Will Smith. Farren formed the band, Antarctigo Vespucci with Jeff Rosenstock when Fake Problems broke up, releasing an EP titled Soulmate Stuff. Antarctigo Vespucci has released two studio albums and extended plays (EPs) since 2014.
Featuring guest appearances from Sean Bonnette, Laura Stevenson, and Mae Whitman, Farren published a Christmas album in 2014 titled Like A Gift From God Or Whatever, which featured all original material. Can't Die, Farren's first solo album, was published by SideOneDummy Records in 2016. Craig of the Creek is a popular Cartoon Network show, and in 2018 and 2020, Farren and his frequent partner, the show's composer, Jeff Rosenstock, will score two episodes.
