Chris Connor Information
Chris Connor is a well-known performer who burst onto the UK Elvis scene in early 2009 and is recognized as one of the world’s best leading Elvis Performers. He achieved such quick success due to his talent and his natural look and voice that astound his audience, no matter what concert he plays. Within 12 months of entering the UK Elvis scene, Connor was already performing at a wide variety of venues, including Harrogate International Centre, the Manchester Apollo. He was backed by the original Elvis’s back-up singers (Sweet Inspirations).
In 2011, Connor was selected above all other Elvis performers to headline ‘Legends’ U.K. summer season. The next year, he was invited to pay tribute in Australia. The same year, Connor was selected to initiate an Elvis theatre production co-production as a star. He also performed at the popular London Palladium to a packed house, which became the only Elvis tribute to be performed at the venue, in Elvis’s full show in 2013.
Along with his manager and tour booker Lisa Matthews, Connor founded and produced his show entitled “The World Famous Elvis Show. “He set a live nine-band and orchestra for the show. Connor toured Canada for 12 consecutive performances at the start of 2014. He also took his tour to Atlanta, Ireland, Holland, Australia, and a few more locations. He headlined many notable festivals throughout his career.
Connor earned a Special Achievement Award for being the fastest rising successful Elvis performer, an award for the best “That’s The Way It Is” 70's Elvis in 2013, along with a long list of other awards achievements.
