Casey Donahew (April 21, 1977) is an American Texas country music singer born in Burleson, Texas. Donahew started performing professionally in 2002, primarily at bar appearances, where he gained a devoted following among younger audiences. His 2009 album, Moving On, debuted in the Top 30 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart, and he became famous both online and on Texas radio.
An exclusive digital release of Double-Wide Dream, the fourth studio album by the Casey Donahew Band, was made available on iTunes on October 24, 2011. Casey eventually recorded the studio version of Matchbox 20's "3 AM," a song he had been performing live for years before releasing it on October 7, 2017, as part of Donahew's 15 Years: The Wild Ride, an updated collection of fifteen of his most popular songs from his early career. Casey unveiled her latest initiative, "One Light Town," on March 29, 2019.
With seven songs already available to listeners digitally upon the album's announcement, Josh Leo's "One Light Town" debuted on July 26, 2019, and comprises fifteen new tracks. Donahew contributed to the composition of eight of the fifteen tracks while also recording compositions by Tim Nichols, Jimmy Yeary, Brad Tursi, Ben Hayslip, David Lee Murphy, Josh Leo, Matt Ramsey, Trevor Rosen, Jeff Hyde, Jon Randall, Michael Lotten, Wynn Varble, Jeff Outlaw, and Steve Stone.
