Caamp Information
CAAMP is one of the most well-known American folk bands, featuring Evan Westfall, Taylor Meier, and Matt Vinson. Westfall and Meier both finished high school at Upper Arlington in 2012. It was in 2013 when Taylor first performed his folk music in cafes. At a later time, they welcomed Matt Vinson to the group.
In 2016, CAAMP dropped their debut original album via Square Roots Records. Shortly after their debut album was released, the band rocketed to fame on the streaming service Spotify, soon becoming one of America's most famous folk music acts.
In 2018, CAAMP released a six-song extended play. The year 2019 saw the release of "By and By," their second album for Mom + Pop Music. The Hotseekers Albums list placed this album at the top during its initial release.
CAAMP was headlining at this year's Mo Pop Festival in Detroit. The band debuted on the Billboard Emerging Artists list and performed at the 2019 Austin City Limits Music Festival.
Released on June 24, 2022, Lavender Days was the band's third studio album. Three singles, "Believe," "Apple Tree Blues," and "Lavender Girl," were released in advance of the album. Apple Tree Blues, one of their songs, was included on President Obama's summer playlist.
Caamp and Paris Jackson recorded a " Lost " duet for her The Lost EP, released on February 18, 2022.
