Brooklyn Youth Chorus, which has been around since 1992, is widely considered among the best youth choruses in the United States due to its rigorous artistic standards and excellent musical education. When it was first formed, the Brooklyn Youth Chorus set out to give young people in New York City access to the best possible musical education.
More than 600 choristers in seven training divisions receive training and educational programming, and our top three performing ensembles perform more than 30 professional-level performances per season, including commissioned full-length vocal theater productions and artistic collaborations with the New York Philharmonic, indie rock band The National, Sir Elton John, and many more.
