Brian Kelley Information
Brian Kelley (August 26, 1985) is an American musician born in Ormond Beach, Florida. Tyler Hubbard and Kelley met in a worship group at Belmont University in 2007. When they met, sparks immediately flew, and they quickly became fast friends with a common interest in guitar and songwriting. The two buddies then embarked on a Nashville-wide writing tour. After deciding in 2009 that they wanted to make a living from music, the pair began performing in venues across the Southern United States.
Their debut EP, Anything Like Me, was released digitally only in 2010. After the release of their EP, they caught the attention of Nickelback's producer, Joey Moi, at a local fair. Two years of songwriting and rehearsal resulted in the 2012 EP It'z Just What We Do for the pair. The pair signed with Republic Nashville and Big Machine Label Group after their debut track, "Cruise," became a hit on satellite radio's "The Highway" channel and iTunes.
Here's to the Good Times, the duo's debut studio album, was released through Republic Nashville on December 4, 2012. In 2013, this album was the sixth best seller. According to the Country Airplay chart for December 15, 2012, the album's lead song, "Cruise," peaked at number one.
