Boy Pablo Information
Nicolas Muñoz, a Chilean–Norwegian singer-songwriter, created the Boy Pablo's indie-pop project. Muoz composes, records, performs, and produces all of the project's music in the studio. Boy Pablo's current touring lineup includes Nicolás Muoz (guitar, vocals), Gabriel Muoz (lead guitar), Judah Kubendran (bass guitar), and Esteban Muoz (drums) (drums). Boy Pablo rose to prominence in late 2017 after the music video for the song "Everytime" became famous worldwide according to YouTube's algorithm.
Boy Pablo's own independent label 777 MUSIC published the duology concept EPs Roy Pablo (2017) and Soy Pablo (2018). Wichita Rico, their debut studio album, was released in October 2020. Boy Pablo has won two of the six Norwegian Grammy Awards he was nominated for and three GAFFA Awards, and one P3 Gull Award, the latter of which he won.
Muñoz started working on the "Boy Pablo" project in December 2015, and the first track, "Flowers," was published in January 2016. In April 2016, Boy Pablo played its first-ever show as a warm-up band for Tellef Raabe at Hulen. They performed at the Vill Vill Vest event in Bergen in September 2016. After obtaining a Bergenfest scholarship of 35 thousand kroner in November 2016, Boy Pablo as a group garnered enormous national popularity.
