Boogie T Information
Brock Thornton, or as he is popularly known on stage Boogie T, is an American DJ and Electronic Music Producer from New Orleans. He mostly plays the dubstep and riddim genre of music.
Boogie T first started playing music at the age of six and started with a piano. By the age of eight, he had taken to playing guitar, and by age 14, he was giving out guitar lessons. In his teens, Boogie T would play his guitar at local events and bars.
He started recording his programs at the age of 11 after his grandmother bought him the Sony Acid 5. Boogie T began producing on that device as well as recording his acoustic guitar and vocals.
The name Boogie T began as Boogie B, which is what his mom would call him at home. However, somehow, that name changed to Boogie T from his peers at school, and the name seems to have stuck on.
Some of Boogie T’s greatest hits include Hit Em, Boogie Nights, Life’s A Bitch, Flava, and Ain’t Safe. He has also done come big hit collabos with the likes of MONXX, Subtronics, and Ganja White Night. However, he seems to be doing more collabos with Squnto than any other artist, and together they have performed by B2B sets.
