Blondish Information
Vivie-ann Bakos is a Canadian music producer and DJ. She is professionally known by her stage name, Blondish. She was born in Montreal, Quebec. Corniere and Bakos first connected in 2007 at the Winter Music Conference. In 2008, the two started performing as Blond:ish at Montreal's Cherry Nightclub, where they ran and DJed a residency. Attendees and fans began referring to the duo Blond:ish at these occasions.
BLOND: ISH's 2017 founding of ABRACADABRA, a self-described "female-powered collective" for music and art, allowed them to work with other musicians and experiment with new forms within the electronic music scene. On both Saturdays of Tomorrowland 2018, the label's ABRACADABRA stage took over the LEAF stage.
Flying Circus, SX Music Festival, Symbiosis Gathering, BPM Festival, ENTER., Mysteryland, Ultra Music Festival, and Wisdom of the Glove are just a few of the festivals and events that BLOND:ISH has performed at. BLOND:ISH's March 2022 performance at the 2022 SXM Festival on the Caribbean island of Saint Martin/Sint Maarten was announced on 1 February 2022. The release of "Sorry" by BLOND:ISH on the ABRACADABRA label, featuring the Queen of Pop, was a watershed moment in the band's history.
