Blackpink Information
In 2016, BLACKPINK released their debut album, Square One, which featured the singles "Boombayah" and "Whistle." A voyage that would smash records began at that very moment. They made history that same year, becoming the most-followed female group on YouTube, the first K-pop group to ever perform at Coachella, and the fastest debut music video to surpass 1 billion views. With Born Pink, they became the first female K-pop artists to top the UK Albums Chart and the Billboard 200. They aren't just influential in the music industry and global ambassadors for luxury labels such as Saint Laurent, Chanel, Dior, and Celine.
During 2024, BLACKPINK prioritised their solo accomplishments. Lisa succeeded after releasing her solo album Alter Ego and landing a role in The White Lotus, an HBO series. The Idol featured Jennie, and her album Ruby was well-received. A top-charting single by Rosé and Bruno Mars appeared on the charts, while Jisoo went on a solo tour around Asia after releasing her EP Amortage. These projects demonstrated their star power.
In 2025, the girl group BLACKPINK prepares to make a big return. They have announced a new album and will begin their world tour in Seoul on July 5th. One more achievement in their remarkable legacy will be their headline performance at Wembley Stadium, becoming the first K-pop girl group to do so.
