BEYRIES Information
Amélie Beyries is a Canadian folk-pop songwriter and singer professionally known as Beyries. She is from Montreal, Quebec, and was born and raised in the famous Montreal neighborhood of Outremont. Until the age of 28, Beyries worked in public relations. At the same time, she was unfortunately diagnosed with breast cancer. During her cancer treatment, Beyries started writing songs to calm her emotions. Eventually, she began working with producer Alex McMahon who helped her complete her first album.
Beyries released her debut studio album on February 24, 2017, Landing. The entire album is in English except for "J'aurai cent ans," although Beyries is francophone. This song is a duet between Beyries and Louis-Jean Cormier which. Beyries co-wrote the song along with Maxime Le Flaguais. Encounter was the second studio album by Beyries that came out on November 13, 2020.
