Ben Howard Information
Benjamin John Howard (b. April 24, 1987) is an English singer-songwriter, guitarist, and composer. His three extended plays (EPs) include Games in the Dark (2008), These Waters (2009), and Old Pine (2010), all of which were self-released. His 2011 first studio album, Every Kingdom, was released by Island Records. The British Phonographic Industry (BPI) certified the album triple platinum, which peaked at number four on the UK Albums Chart.
With India Bourne, Mickey Smith, Nat Wason, Rich Thomas, and Kyle Keegan, he formed the band A Blaze of Feather in 2017. June 2018 saw the release of Noonday Dream, Howard's third studio album. Many critics gave it good reviews, and it debuted at No.4 on the UK Albums Chart. March 2021 saw the release of Collections from the Whiteout, his fourth studio album. In June of 2023, his album Is It? was released.
"Rumble Strip" was formerly exclusively accessible on the vinyl deluxe edition of Collections from the Whiteout, but Howard shared it on January 9, 2024, with Aaron Dessner's solo work. Howard marked the tenth anniversary of I Forget Where We Were with the announcement of a tour of the UK and Ireland for October on May 24.
