Beechwood Information
Beechwood is a New York City band that formed out of need, playing rock and roll that is jarring, streetwise, and darkly shimmering. Beechwood, a band formed by two adolescents who were best friends, first gained attention in New York City's smaller clubs and DIY spaces, where they perfected their unpredictable, frenetic live performances (which twice resulted in mid-show arrests) and won over a devoted fan base.
While Beechwood gained some attention outside of the New York City area with the release of 2016's Trash Glamour (Lolipop! Records), it was in 2018's Songs From The Land of Nod and Inside the Flesh Hotel that the band Beechwood's fourth album, Sleep Without Dreaming, is now available on Alive Naturalsound Records. The album centers around the collaborative songwriting and guitar weaving of Gordon Lawrence and Sid Simons and also features the drumming and bass playing of Russ Yusuf and Jensen Gore.
