Bassjackers Information
Bassjackers is a Dutch electronic music production and DJ duo that was founded in 2007 by Flohr and Van Hilst during their high school time. The duo originated from Tilburg, Netherlands. Van Hilst takes care of "behind-the-scenes" production, whereas Flohr is the more outspoken member. Their music genres are future house, trap, big room house, electro house, and Dutch house.
Bassjackers initiated its official career with a single entitled "Mush Mush" in 2011, which appeared on Beatport. The track reached the top 10 of the Beatport charts for over two months and was played by DJs Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, and the Swedish House Mafia. Bassjackers also performed in many festivals in 2012 and began to tour the state. Their first large concert appearance was witnessed at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami.
Some of their notable hit tracks are "Let's Get Weird," "16"(with Jorn), "Rocker," "Rocker," "Savior," "Wave Your Hands," "Bring That Beat," and a few more. The EPs by the duo include Sujo Soja 2009, Destiny 2016, Les Pays Bass 2017, and Les Pays Bass, Vol. 2 2018. A few of the other singles by Bassjackers are Clifton, Showrocker (with The Partysquad), Rambo (with Ralvero), Bronx (with Yves V), Grid (with Dyro), Raise Those Hands (with R3hab), and the list goes on.
Bassjackers were ranked 39th on the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs list on October 17, 2015. It was their first appearance on this list. They also ranked 34 (2016), 35 (2017), 30 (2018), and 34 (2019) on the same list.
