Barrio Manouche is an acoustic septet playing music that is based in San Francisco. Javier Jimenez is the founder of the group. He was inspired by the places from where the group came as well as the places they have lived in. The band music is all about the mystery of life. Their music portrays the life of now vs the life before us. He also believes that music is a primary form of expressing and describing the world as he sees it.
Barrio Manouche is joined by artists from all over the globe, including California, Spain, Quebec, Brazil, and France. That is why the music takes it, listeners, on a magical journey where they explore the feel from all across the globe. The band performs original repertoire. Most of their instrumental compositions are mixed with a unique sound.
