Bailo Information
Bailo (Gennaro Bailo) was born in Brooklyn on August 7, 1991, but he spent most of his childhood in Queens. Bailo's mind-blowing music is heavily influenced by his grandfather, an Italian vocalist with whom he spent much quality time.
He was born with a musical bone in his body. Bailo began singing and using his innate gifts at the tender age of seven. The Voice, X Factor, and American Idol were just a few of the shows he tried out for. His focus switched from singing to producing as he developed as an artist and person. When Bailo was in high school, he and his pals would make music by beating on tables. Now, he makes mixtapes for up-and-coming musicians.
A mixtape he created himself is called "No Sleep." Bailo's life changed drastically when, at the age of 21, he was exposed to electronic dance music (EDM) and, more specifically, trap. Everything "clicked" for him, and he hasn't stopped pursuing his passion, even releasing a single, "Clique," on Borgore's label, Buygore, just recently.
Over the past few months, Bailo has received much attention from musicians and has been offered collaborations with various notable acts. In addition, Buygore has just dropped another one of Bailo's remixes dubbed "Breaker."
