Aweminus Information
Aweminus (pronounced ominous) is a Las Vegas native and one of the most exciting new bass music acts. The likes of Excision, Datsik, Rusko, 12th Planet, Funtcase, Skism, and many more have supported his distinctive dubstep and drum and bass brand since late 2012. Early 2012 saw the viral spread of promotional clips for Aweminus, alias Brandon Famini, and his first two original productions, "Viper" and "The Beast," within the dubstep community.
2015 Aweminus released the "Mans on Road" EP on Savage Society Records. In 2016, he released the "Dead Simple" EP [Calypso], a collection of six tracks demonstrating his skill as a Drum & Bass producer. Skism's NSD: Black Label XL 2 Compilation featured the Phiso duet "Sheer Cold," released later that year.
Brandon has released his "Short Fuse" EP on NSD: Black Label, his "The Wabbit Hole" DnB EP via Dub Damage Recordings, his "Round Table" and "Savage Selects" tracks on Disciple and Savage Society's respective compilations, and his "DPMO Vol.1" and "Crooked Beatz" collaborations on Circus Records' and Crooked Beatz' respective record labels. The "Astronaut Training EP" by Aweminus was the first major release in 2018 on NSD: Black Label. After that, he dropped a slew of songs on NSD through labels like Black Friday, Shred Collective, Bassweight Records, and BigTooth Records. With his greatest EP to date, "Riddim 4 Dummies," and a dnb release on Co-lab, Aweminus closed out the year on a high note.
